Where you'll live
Accommodation and Local Services
On this page you'll find info about accommodation and local services where you may be working around Australia and New Zealand.
Unless you choose to arrange your own accommodation, your new employer must arrange accommodation for you for the whole time of your placement if you’re a short-term worker (someone with a job with an employer for up to 9 months). If you’re a long-term worker (from 1 - 4 years), your employer must arrange accommodation for a minimum of 12 months.
It's important to know that if you have any concerns about your living arrangements, your employer must take reasonable action to address these issues.
Navigator's new and the Pacific Island workers community needs your help to make it even better. Sharing your experiences will help others working in Australia and New Zealand, or those thinking about making the move.
As more info becomes available, this page will gradually have more on it. Thanks for your support for Navigator and doing a review of an employer!
